Underfloor Hydronic Radiant Heating systems are the most efficient and cost effective method of heating your home. Our systems are designed to give the client maximum comfort throughout. With the addition of state of the art AprilAire, Honeywell, Tekmar, Nest, Ecobee etc. thermostats and sensors the homeowner can achieve a very high level of control over each zone from anywhere in the home and also through any smart device when away from the home. We can also work with your AV technician to sync up with any home automation system.
Hydronic underfloor is more efficient than baseboard heating and forced-air heating due to the elimination of duct losses. It doesn’t distribute allergens like forced air systems can. Hydronic systems can use a wide variety of energy sources to heat the water before being distributed, including standard gas- or oil-fired boilers, wood-fired boilers, solar water heaters etc.
An automatic Fire Sprinkler Protection system is a highly effective and reliable way of preventing mass fire damage and even fatalities in any commercial building or family home.
A building protected with a fire sprinkler system is 80% less likely to suffer a fatality if a fire breaks out over one with no protection at all. The accuracy of the automated system is achieved by activating the sprinkler head nearest to the fire first, this will allow water to flow directly on to the fire working to suppress it before the local fire department arrive. This method of localized targeting also prevents excessive water damage and helps cut down on repair costs.
Here at Madden our sprinkler systems are intelligently designed using up to date local flow rate information to provide the best coverage and response time throughout the building in the most cost effective way possible.

Backflow prevention and testing is an integral part of most plumbing systems. Preventing undesirable contaminated water from backing up into the clean water system is essential for the health and well being of all tenants within the building and the community.
Once a backflow system has been installed it is important to have it serviced annually to prevent the system failing due to excess build up.
The Registration and Annual testing of these systems is a compulsory requirement by the State of California Water Resources Control Board.
Madden Plumbing will design a backflow system tailored specifically to your project. We will then install, test and register it with the SWRCB. We can also provide you with the annual inspection of the system via our state registered in house Backflow specialist.
Our Fire protection department prides itself on maintaining standards. During our thorough inspection process we expect each individual sprinkler system, new and old, to uphold these standards. Fire sprinkler systems should be accountable for its effective dynamic throughout the duration of its lifetime.
Madden fire division conducts Title-19 inspections to ensure that these systems meet or exceed NFPA-13 standards.
If deficiencies are found within a system we will provide a detailed report outlining corrections, recommendations and solutions to achieve full compliance.
